Very clean and well presented accommodation. Good communication with owner throughout. Depending who your traveling with, the shower room and downstairs toilet would benefit from some locks.

Lovely property in a great location. 15 minute walk to Buxton was good. Lovely and spacious especially the lounge and dining table. Could do with more saucepans and another frying pan to accommodate the amount of people. Lots of cutlery, glasses, plates, bowls and mugs. Plenty of tea, coffee, kitchen and toilet rolls along with washing up liquid. However Storage for clothes was very limited. Two rooms didnt have any and the other two only had hanging space. Also it is listed as 4 doubleking beds but the front bedroom were two small singles. As mentioned in a previous feedback a place to store coats and shoes would have been useful. Host was very responsive and provided a brand new cafetire for us. Lovely enjoyable stay at By The Tracks. Thank you.
Lovely property for our extended family to visit together in, loved the kitchendining area and the huge table, where we spent most of our time socialising and eating. Comfortable beds and hot showers. Perfect for walking into Buxton, but not too far from Chatsworth and Bakewell. Definitely recommend and would visit again. Maybe just needs a coat rackshoe basket to keep things tidy in the hallway.

By The Tracks is a great place to stay. It has been refurbished and decorated to a very high standard, which makes it really comfortable. The kitchen is well stocked with everything you might need. The beds are all comfy and the entire house was very clean. Its only a short walk into Buxton in a quiet part of the town.
By The Tracks is decorated to a very high standard. We visited as a family of 5, and loved the welcome pack, comfortable beds, decking area and open plan kitchen which was well kitted out both in terms of appliances and provisions coffee machine including pods, tea, soaps, washing up liquid, dishwasher tablets etc. In terms of any improvements, our only suggestion would be curtains or additional blinds as the slat blinds mean the rooms are light when the sun comes up. Owner was very responsive in advance with details on access but also importantly during our stay as we did have a couple of minor issues, but nothing that impacted our stay.

The property was actually even nicer than I expected it to be! The downstairs toilet is definitely an aspect of the house worth boasting about as I was a bit nervous about having one toilet for 7 girls! The upstairs toilet wasnt clean at all on our arrival, but I assume that was an oversight as the rest of the property was immaculate. The kitchen is very well stocked but there was also lots of storage space which was great. The whole house was just beautiful and we really enjoyed our stay.

Beautiful kept house, decorated for Christmas, thank you. Good social space downstairs for eight ppl. Convient location to Town. Owner very helpful and we loved the welcome Christmas treats provided. A few practicalities that would be most useful, somewhere to hang coats, a towel rail in each room as no where to put towels. Two of the bedrooms lacked hanging space for clothes or any drawers in any rooms. Otherwise, we could not fault the property and enjoyed our stay.

Beautifully and carefully decorated and only approximately 15 minutes walk to the town. Very well equipped kitchen and a pleasant outside area for sitting. Our first visit to Buxton which is a pretty and very friendly place. Delicious homemade biscuits on arrival! Many thanks for a lovely stay.
We had a brilliant stay here. The place is so beautifully done, it was a joy to stay here. The pictures don't do it justice! The hosts were very communicative and made us feel welcome the cookies went down a storm! We would stay here again without a doubt.

Eight of us had a brilliant 3night stay at this newly renovated house in Buxton. The huge modern kitchen, with indoor and outdoor dining tables, was ideal for us to simultaneously socialise and cook large breakfasts and big dinners at the end of days out. The beds were very comfy and the shower was warm. Parking additional cars wasnt difficult on the quiet street. Theres no dedicated bike storage at the house but the owner was happy for us to store bikes indoors if necessary, and theres room for several bikes to be locked together on the rear terrace. Being able to charge an electric vehicle on the driveway was very useful too. The owner was friendly and helpful. Thank you!
We stayed at BTT for a long weekend of walking in the Peaks. The house was fantastic, beds comfy, shower was great and it was super helpful being able to charge our cars! We would all absolutely recommend this house to others and will likely return. Sam was fantastic with all our queries before and after the stay. Great stay!
By the Tracks certainly didn't disappoint. The property has been beautifully renovated to the best possible standard and we loved having our family birthday celebratory weekend here. It was the ideal place to explore Buxton and the many things it has to offer, as well as the stunning surrounding area. The host could not of been more welcoming and helpful. This is truly a special place that I would highly recommend to family and friends and will look forward to returning in the future.

One of the best short stays I've stayed at. The house has been renovated to an extremely high standard, all the appliance were of a high specification. Everything was immaculate. The location was perfect, we could travel to all of the places we wished to visit within around 30 minutes. Only wished we stayed longer, there's so much to see and explore! We will definitely be returning, and have already looked at dates! Many thanks to Sam who was the perfect host, he lives close by. Any query we had was responded to straight away, he was able to accommodate all of our requests! Many thanks Sam, the children and adults loved their stay!
