12 Eagle Parade Reviews

We were really impressed with the property as soon as we walked in. It is spacious, clean and everything in it is of a high quality including the bedding and towels. It is in a great location in Buxton, just a short walk from the Pavilion Gardens, The Cresent and the town. There are a great choice of pubs and places to eat nearby but also the kitchen is well equipped if you chose to cook. If we stay in Buxton in the future we will definitely be booking 12 Eagle Parade.

We have stayed at this property a few times and always suits us fine. Always clean and tidy and good location to town. It is starting to show a few areas that could do with a bit of maintenance but would recommend to others and will stay here again. We are a group of 7 people from 8 months to 80
We enjoyed our stay here and were lucky enough to be able to book a last minute midweek break half price. It is a town centre location and it was incredibly noisy in the early mornings in 2 of the bedrooms in particular and a nearby alarm going off all night on and off for 2 nights which was unfortunate. Overall the apartment was very spacious, well equipped with lots of thoughtful touches such as washing machine and dishwasher tablets available. Lots of child friendly items to hand too. Bedding and towels were lovely and clean, beds comfortable and most of the apartment was clean and had been renovated with high quality items. Being a bit more picky the property would benefit from a deep clean maintenance in a few areas as there were some odd looking marks on the tiles in the bathroom fairly high up, and a deep clean or re grouting in the shower. The heating in one of the bedrooms seemed to be on full regardless of the setting on the valve and the windows dont actually open so it was absolutely boiling in there if we wanted the rest of the home to be warm. The kitchen sink needed some attention also.

As advertised. The apartment is in an old hotel, and so the layout is as quirky as youd imagine. Our toddler loved charging down the long corridors and playing with his cars trains. The beds were super comfy and the bath was huge! The location was also great parking onsite and right next to a small supermarket to buy essentials on arrival. The park, theatre, shops etc. are just a short 5min walk down the hill. And great pubs in the immediate area. Wonderful weekend stay!
A nicely maintained property. Very handy for everything around town. However, as it is central, you do get noise from the local nightlife and the taxi rank outside the property on weekend nights. But that is a small trade off for being in the heart of everything. The property is fairly spacious and the accommodation works well we were 6 adults. Parking is a little complicated hoping we wont receive any parking tickets in the coming weeks
Very comfortable, high quality specification. Bit noisy in small hrs of Friday night from local night club opposite
Superb location, accommodation was clean, spacious and welcoming. The lift was very welcome for transporting our cycles to the second floor. We'd definitely use this apartment again, if we ever have another cycling holiday using Buxton as our base.
