Perfect location and a lovely property. The hot tub is an added bonus. We would certainly like to return. Plenty to do in the area, walking and sightseeing.
We had a great time 4 adults and 4 kids lovely house and location very easy

Great time at Cheshire View for New year. Perfect house for a family gathering of 7 people. Beautiful location. Beautiful House. Owner very accommodating and great communication.
Although the owner bent over backwards to rectify the fact that the hotub was not working it was very disappointing. Also oven did not work on arrival but ti's was fixed eventually.I had booked the property for the hotub for my grandkids. Were eventually given 20 percent reduction. I have been with sykes on and off for many years.Communication is almost zero now and they think that everything can be sorted by email. There is no telephone number for complaints and I spent so much time trying to contact them verbally. So very poor I feel and as an organisation sykes has gone way down in my estimation.
Fantastic property, ideally located on the Edge of Buxton. Perfect sociable kitchen area with secure garden. Very clean property and comfy beds. Will hopefully visit again in 2026. Thank you
Andrea
Lovely house , beds were so comfy ,large dining kichen for everyone to sit around, comfy lounge ,hotub was amazing ,garden great for my dogs ,lovely view from the lounge overlooking the fields and sheep . Thanks for a great stay x
The property was perfect!
The home was beautifully presented and very welcoming. It had everything we could need except a highchair so we brought our own and the kitchen was fantastic for spending time together. The sitting room is on the first floor which means the views are incredible and it was very peaceful. Out dog also enjoyed being able to run in and out with a lovely secure garden at the back. Lovely home and would thoroughly recommend.
We had a wonderful week at Cheshire View helped by being blessed with good weather for Buxton! . Walked everyday, 3 times from the house, and used hot tub every day to sooth aching body and feet. The house was everything we wanted clean, comfortable and quiet. Lots of parking. Would recommend.

Fantastic property with a large, sociable, kitchen diner. Just the space that was needed to meet and catch up with friends! The property is finished to a high standard and has plenty of space for 7 adults, a toddler and a dog, plus well positioned for easy access across the Peaks. The hot tub was a lovely added bonus too.
Lovely comfortable cottage. Very small first floor living room which would not seat 8. Some sort of radio or tv in the kitchen would be good as that is where we spent most of our time. Also only plastic wine glasses. Great for the hot tub but would be nice to have glass option. Would also be good to have some washing up liquid under the sink. The hot tub was great and we had a very enjoyable weekend.
Patricia
We had a lovely time even with about 5inches of snow. Which meant we had to dig our car out, unfortunately the snow shovel provided handle broke. Which we carried on using the last day the shovel itself broke. The gutter came down with the weight of the snow but thats wasnt a problem. The property is lovely and spacious and had everything we need except a large frying pan. Would go back without the snow
Well equipped and comfortable property. We stayed for a weekend and had everything we needed. Half hour pleasant walk into Buxton although its slightly uphill coming back! Plenty of room for 6 of us. Nice views of the countryside. Hot tub was great. Would definitely stay again.
Had a good stay. Nice clean house and garden on quiet estate, the hot tub was enjoyed by everyone. Think the living room would be a struggle for 8 people to fit in.
Lindsey
Fantastic stay ,beautiful house loved the hot tub will definitely book again
Me and the girls enjoyed our weekend stay, we loved the fact that the hot tub was ready to use as soon as we arrived. The beds were very comfortable, it didn't feel cramped with 8 adults there was plenty of room. We will all recommend this house, it was brilliant. Thank you for a lovely, clean and well equipped house. We will be visiting again soon. 5stars.
Fantastic stay, incredibly clean & well maintained. The outdoor space was lovely and comfortable. Very easy to relax in, and to visit surrounding areas.
Leanne
We had a great time. The house is great for a get away. The view from the garden is spectacular. Only things we had concern about was the lack of panscookware, we cooked for a full party of 8 and struggled. The underfloor heating never got any cooler and the hot tub thermostat. The owner did say its on the way to getting fixed, we just struggled to get the temperature down sometimes. For anyone coming to the property I would advise to bring everything you need, the local shop is pricey and the petrol station isn't the best equipment we struggled with buying milk. The coffee provided was decaff, a few disappointed sore heads when we realised. The quality of the house is one of the best we've stayed in for a long time. Would highly recommend the stay to anyone. The walk into Buxton center and Solomon temple was beautiful.
We had a fantastic weekend weather was kind to us The house was amazing and the hot tub spectacular
Modesty
The property was amazing just as described. Me and my 5 friends had an unforgettable experience. The hot tub was the best part of our stay and the host Alex was amazing at listening and answering the phone very quickly whenever there was an issue. Alex also brought me 2 bottles of Asti as a sorry for the second oven not working and also as a birthday present which was very thoughtful. The area was beautiful, peaceful and the scenery was sensational. I would definitely recommend this place to others and would definitely visit again! Thanks for having us!
Deborah
Beautiful & sparkling clean place. We had everything we needed and the property is situated in an ideal location to see so many lovey places.Hot tub was amazing. Beautifully decorated throughout. I plenty of space for the 7 of us plus two doggies. Garden safe and enclosed for them to run about in. Thanks for a fab stay
Charlotte
The house is in a great location for exploring the Peak District, we had a nice walk to Solomon's Temple from the house and drove to other areas. The hot tub was nice to relax in after walking. The house was as described, slept well in the comfy beds. Was clean and tidy on arrival, met the host who was friendly. Good parking for two large cars and enclosed garden for the dogs. Will definitely return in future.
Rachel
The house was lovely. But I was misled by the listing of 3 bathrooms when in fact its one bathroom, 1 ensuite and 1 downstairs loo. Eberything else was wonderful and will certainly book again.
Debbie
Absolutely stunning place to stay, that had everything we needed for a fabulous family get away. The scenery is beautiful, and the garden lovely, we enjoyed sitting in the hot tub looking up at the stars at night. Would definitely recommend.
Property was lovely and modern and provided all the facilities needed for a self catering break, the location was convenient for the centre of Buxton a 5 minute drive or 30 min walk, lovely countryside views from the property and very peaceful. We thoroughly enjoyed using the hot tub as a family and although there was a very small issue on arrival with the hot tub this was dealt with by the owner Alex very promptly and did not affect our enjoyment of the break away at all. You can really tell that a lot of thought has gone into the guests comfort at this holiday property, its a credit to the owners. Thank you for a lovely weekend in Buxton, lots of family memories made!
Jennifer
Great property 7 of us, plus dog, stayed for half term week. The house is well thought out amazing kitchen, cosy lounge, 2 small doubles one on ground floor& 2 king size rooms on the top floor. The bathrooms were very nice. Hot tub was wonderful. We adored the area the views are fabulous. We went to Alton Towers, Emma Bridgewater factory, Ashbourne town, Leek and Whaley Bridge. There is so much to do.
Rachel
This is a fantastic holiday cottage! We used it as a stop over for 4 friends and had the most wonderful time. So well equipped, amazingly clean and beautifully presented!
Amazing place to stay, so clean, modern and pleasant. Super handy for walking the dogs straight into open countryside. Would highly recommend
Absolutely loved this property! The second we opened the front door it felt like home. It was clean, tidy, bright and perfectly laid out. We spent 90 of the time in the kitchen and the hot tub as it was the favourite part of the house. The living room was a beautiful little snug overlooking the hills of sheep. Very quiet little neighbourhood with so much around to see and do!! The only ever so slight down side if I had to say were the beds could be slightly more comfy. But that aside we are deffo planning on returning! Thankyou so much xxx
We had a great stay. The house was lovely and clean and we had everything we needed. We had a problem with the patio doors but they were soon fixed without disruption to our holiday. Hot tub was great we had a great time Thank you
Great house in fantastic location, we enjoyed our stay and relaxing in the hot tub was a bonus! Thank you for the welcome wine which was much appreciated and enjoyed in the very sociable kitchen.
