We had an amazing stay at this beautiful house for my 50th birthday celebration. The host was incredibly accommodating and went above and beyond to make the weekend special. They put up a birthday banner for me and even left a bottle of Prosecco, which was such a thoughtful touch. They also recommended some lovely local places to visit, which really added to our trip. The house itself is stunning, with plenty of space for our group of 10 adults. It was very well equipped with lots of crockery, glasses, and everything we needed. The hot tub and garden were fantastic and made for a perfect place to relax and celebrate. We'd also highly recommend The Beehive, which is within walking distance and serves excellent food. We couldn't have asked for a better place to celebrate such a special occasion and would highly recommend this property to anyone looking for a spacious, wellequipped, and welcoming stay. We'd love to come back!

We had a great family weekend at Carr House Farm 7 adults & 4 kids! The house was really well appointed with everything we could need and the owner was absolutely lovely. Thank you so much.
We had a very pleasant week at Carr House Farm. My wife and I occupied the bedroom to the left of the stairs the mirror is balanced on the radiator and not attached to the wall which could cause an accident. We used the bathroom at the top of the stairs and the shower is in desperate need of attention as the cold water is not working. The shower is therefore scaldingly hot and could cause a bad accident. Two other minor issues in that bathroom, which the owner may be unaware of, are that the sink plug is not watertight, and the toilet seat is positioned too far back on the pan. We also felt that the information we received was misleading. We were told that hand towels would be provided and presumed that at least one per person would be available. Instead, there was only one per bathroom 4. This should be made clear so that guests can bring their own hand towels.
Carr House Farm was an ideal place for our 3generation family holiday including grandson visiting from Canada and son from Spain with all the facilities needed for an early Christmas celebration. A short walk into town for coffee shops and restaurants along the public footpath from the garden gate. Also just 30 minute drive to more remote areas of the Peak district.

Excellent house for large family gathering. We had both this house and 2 Carr farm close 17 of us but used this house for meals and socialising as it was such a great space. The extra snugliving room was only used for sleeping as so much other space, and could easily have had a second bed. Would definitely book again.
Very beautiful cottage, located in a very quiet and secluded area but equally only a few minutes away from shops and residential areas so a great blend. Lots to do in the local area for a family. Hot tub is amazing and lots of great living spaces to sit and gather as a a group. Kitchen well maintained and stocked with equipment. Only small negative is bringing own towels as they arent provided. Certainly one of the best cottages I have stayed in with my family.

We all loved our stay at this property, it is just so nice and quiet and when you turn the lights off at night its pitch black which is so nice and relaxing, very quiet neighbourhood. there are so many nice walks and we found two nice pubs 25 mins walk away so its an ideal setting. Host was very attentive and accurate and took a lot of trouble to make sure our stay was 5 star. would love to go back there so thank you very much.

This was a lovely holiday let. Carr Farm is a beautiful, spacious house, ideally located and was fully equipped with everything we needed. The owner was lovely. She called us shortly after our arrival to welcome us and check if we had any questions. She was incredibly helpful when our car broke down at the end of our stay too! We have just returned from the most fabulous weeknd at Carr course farm, 11 of us were staying to celebrate a special birthday and we had the best time. The farm the perfect size for us all and it was fully equipped as if you were in your own home! The hosts were so friendly and helpful and only a phone call away. I will be sure to book again!

Fantastic place and ideal location. The property is spacious and has plenty of bathrooms for a big group. The kitchen had everything we needed to make a Christmas meal for the entire group. The hosts were absolutely fantastic and even came and made the log burner going to enhance the atmosphere. Glossop town is 15 mins walk away to get to cafes, restaurants, shops and bars. Before we arrived, we got an email with all the information on how to arrive at the location and key bits around the property. The host even gave toys and bits for the 6 month old baby. Everything and more were provided. The snacks on arrival was such a treat also. Highly recommend this place for a big group to stay.
Lovely location, 15mins walk to high street, plenty of walks without needing to get in your car eg B29 crash site. Property is lovely, 3 spacious lounges, 2 with log fires, modern kitchen, 4 bathrooms, all as described. Nice welcome box with wine & pretzels. Feels rural even though on a new house estate, very quiet! Flexible with check in and out times we went in November Owner rang the day prior, very welcoming. No issues at all!

Overall it was a lovely stay and the space made all 10 of us feel very comfortable. Some minor things to note would be the cobwebs around the building, especially the sky light in the main living area. This is a central piece to the room, even more so with the spot lights used to make the room standout, however also makes the cobwebs stand out! The accommodation advertises for 10 people but the bedding is only supplied for the beds. So unless everyone is sharing, not everyone gets bedding. The shower screen in the en suite is not fully fitted across when showering, so the bathroom gets soaked as it is not protected by a full screen. One final thing to add is all the additional notes suck around the house advising what we can and cannot do. Seems quite unwelcoming, especially when the bedroom has three notes advising of the same thing to strip the bedding before departure.

Fabulous weekend within a short walk of Glossop town. House and surroundings were beautiful even though it is in the centre of a high class housing estate you would never guess its so private. Great location for exploring the Peak District but also 10min walk to Glossop town centre. Lovely cottage with large seating areas was great for a family get together. Very well equipped with everything needed for catering for 10 people. The hot tub was a nice bonus. Manuzah was a very helpful host and did everything she could when things went wrong with the internet this was a BT fault not a fault within the property. We stayed here at the weekend for my sister's hen celebrations. We couldn't have asked for a better place to stay. The property is absolutely beautiful. It's large, spacious and very clean. It feels homely and has everything you could need for your stay. The kitchen was fully equipped with plenty of plates, cups, cutlery etc. There's a large oven with hob, microwave, dishwasher. There's also a washer, dryer and iron in the utility room. The living spaces were comfortable. The bedrooms were all spacious with plenty of bedding and extra pillows if you needed them. The beds were so comfy and we all had great nights sleep! The hot tub was filled and warm when we arrived. The garden space is lovely with bifold doors leading from the back of the property and it gets the sun all day. I haven't got a bad word to say about our stay. The host had great communication, calling me to make sure we arrived and got the keys ok. They made me aware or everything I needed to know and they were on hand if we needed anything further during our stay. We even arrived to snacks and a bottle of fizz for the celebrations which was very kind. I would highly recommend this beautiful home for any gatherings with family and friends. The 3 large rooms, all with TV's , gave 9 off us space and felt very spacious. Good location , would recommend The Commercial Inn on Manor Park Road. 10 mins walk and lovely food. good walks around the reservoir, flat and easy with great views. BEAUTIFUL HOME FROM HOME! This property is a hidden gem!! Our group of ten had the best long weekend, the house is beautiful and contains everything you need to relax and catch up with friends and family! Manuzah our host was so attentive and made sure we had everything we needed. She went above and beyond and I can't thank her enough for helping to make my husbands 50'th birthday so special. When we arrived she had decorated with birthday banners and there was a bottle of fizz waiting! The kitchen is so well equipped. We loved chatting around the island whist our friends prepared a curry for us, there is ample crockery and all of the utensils are in great order. All of our guest mentioned how comfortable their beds were and how nice each room is decorated. The lounge areas are super comfortable with plenty of cushions, blankets and home from home comforts. The hot tub was lovely and clean, even though it was January we braved it and the water was perfect! We are already planning our return and can't recommend this property enough!! There were a few spider nets in some top corners of the house in the living room which lady guests quickly paid attention to and very cheap curtains that spoiled the overall luxurious feel of the house getting picky here. The umbrella over the hot tub requires cleaning and better fixation as it was going all over the place in high winds despite the rope and a brick. All in all, it was a very wellequipped, clean, and beautiful house to which we hope to return.
We had a great time celebrating our annual Christmas get together! Its the first time weve been but wont be the last. Everything about the property was perfect for us. The size, the layout, cleanliness, the kitchen is well equipped, great area for walks.
The owner was fantastic. She personally messaged with with very clear and specific details and even recommended places for us to go. The house was stunning! We came away for a relaxing and chilling weekend and thats exactly what we got! Thanks!

It is a beautiful home with plenty of room for a group of 10 adults. It was nice and clean and we really enjoyed the hot tub. The host Manuzah was very polite helpful accommodating and available by phone. We all had a great time. The only slight downside was the early checkout of 10am. The property is advertised exactly as it is in person. Really nice place for friends and families to get together. Location is very good in terms of convenience. The property is clean and well maintained. The owner really accommodated for our needs and got in contact to us prior which was handy.

We have just had the most amazing weekend at Carr house farm! The house itself is beautiful, spotlessly clean, comfortable beds, good showers, every thing we could possibly need. The hosts were lovely and they even gave us a later check out time so we could have a little lay in on our last day. As a group of 12 friends we have stayed in many places all over the country but I have to say Carr house farm is the best so far! We usual spend most of our time in the pubs when we are away together but this house was so wonderful and open plan we literally spent the whole time enjoying the property and the hot tub. I would highly recommend this beautiful home!

Lovely property, plenty of room for our 10 family members that gathered at the house over the long Easter weekend. Good location in terms of visiting the Peaks and its towns and villages. I thought the house would be more rural, its on the back of a housing estate, but it does have its own slightly more secluded plot, so it wasnt really an issue, just something to point out if youre looking for something more rural. The host was lovely and very helpful and we had a lovely time. Would definitely recommend this property.
